Safety

Ensuring safety within our company and the broader industry is of paramount importance to us. We consider it our top priority and have implemented comprehensive procedures to uphold the highest safety standards.

In addition to meeting statutory requirements for safety policies, method statements, COSHH assessments, and risk assessments, our training programs underscore our unwavering commitment to creating safe working environments.

Training

Our Project Managers have all completed rigorous CITB SMSTS Training Courses, equipping them with the skills and knowledge to effectively manage projects while prioritizing safety. Likewise, our Senior Installation Engineers have undergone CITB SSSTS Training Courses and are proficient in administering Emergency First Aid when needed.

Furthermore, all our employees hold ECS or CSCS Skill card Certification, demonstrating their competency and commitment to maintaining safety standards at all times. See Training for further details.

COSHH

Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) Regulations 2002 (as amended) requires employers to: assess the risks that arise from the use of hazardous substances. This will include any arrangements to deal with accidents, incidents or emergencies, such as those resulting from serious spillages.

CITB / SMSTS - Site Management Safety Training Scheme for our people

SMSTS

Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS). It covers all relevant legislation affecting safe working in the building, construction and civil engineering industries. It highlights the need for risk assessment in the workplace, the implementation of the necessary control measures and adequate communication to sustain a health and safety culture within the workforce.

CITB / SMSTS - Site Management Safety Training Scheme for our people

SSSTS

Site Supervisors’ Safety Training Scheme (SSSTS). At the end of the course you will have an understanding of: Health and safety law and how it applies to supervisors. / Your supervisory responsibilities in controlling site safely. / Risk assessments and the need for method statements. / Effective site inductions, toolbox talks and method statement briefings. / Monitoring site activities effectively. / Timely intervention when bad practice is identified.

ECS - Electrotechnical Certification Scheme

ECS & CSCS

The Electrotechnical Certification Scheme (ECS) is a partner of the Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS). An ECS Installation Electrician card is issued to electricians who have demonstrated that they have completed a formal industry regulated competency based qualification which includes technical theory with practical and competency assessments.
