This ensures they are fully versed with complete software configuration, integration and graphics at both an office and site level. Taking the lead role on projects during the final commissioning periods, our engineers are also supported by Contract Managers, and should the need arise, by our suppliers through their independent technical support networks.
CIBSE Codes of Practice
All Commissioning Works are carried out in accordance with the current CIBSE (Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers) Codes of Practice and the relevant control manufacturers recommendations.
The codes are intended to raise performance across a sector by providing clarity of responsibilities across the supply chain and measurable minimum standards. It is intended that they could be used during procurement and so are targeted at clients and developers as well engineering specialists.

IEE Regulations
All West Coast Controls commissioning staff members are trained to the current IEE Regulations and hold current edition inspection and testing certificates.
The IEE Wiring Regulations (BS 7671). This national standard lays out the requirement for installation of fixed cabling within a building to ensure the adherence of safety and proper practice. It also covers the testing of wiring. Wiring regulations are designed to ensure a consistent, safe approach to wiring and electrical works throughout the UK.
